Where to Eat

On site, there is a Papa Johns for those that like Pizza and Pasta and they offer both eat in and takeaway service.

The Mash and Barrel Lounge Bar is a relaxed family area with plenty of seating inside and out. There is an all-day menu serving Breakfast, snacks and Family meals as well as a carvery for a Sunday roast.

There are numerous local Takeaways in Caister and Great Yarmouth who will deliver direct to your caravan. There is an information folder, which contains numerous menus.

The Local Area

In Caister there is a small High Street with all the shops that you will need including a Pharmacy, bakers, and butchers, Lidl, Co-Op and a small Tesco. There are also a few pubs and restaurants.

I can recommend Castle carvery for roast and Doggers Place for Fish and Chips.

Great Yarmouth is just 4 miles away and has much larger supermarkets and a larger section of Restaurants and bars.

There is also a cinema, theatres, pleasure beach rides, and numerous amusement arcades.

Why not head to the world-famous Norfolk Broads for an amazing day in the countryside?

If that is not for you why not try a day at the races, banger racing or greyhound racing.

For those that do not wish to drive, there is a bus stop directly outside the park, as at reception for details.

How do I get there?

Note: If you're using SAT NAV once on the Ormesby Road do not turn off until you are at the entrance to the camp as some SATNAVs will send you to the housing area next door.
Where is the caravan located?
The caravan number is Paston P2. To drive there you go through the Main Entrance past the reception on your left. Take the first Turning on the right and then turn left so that you are passing Cooks Fish and Chips shop on your left. Take the next turning on your right. You are now in the Clippesby area drive to the end of the road turn left and the van is the fourth van on the right. There is a display notice showing P2 There is a parking space allocated outside. You will find the key safe padlock attached to the gate and you will have received the 4-digit code from me prior to your arrival.
Where can I get entertainment passes?
Passes can be purchased from the Main reception. The Staff are all local and a wealth of helpful information. You can also obtain a map of the holiday park from them
What time can we arrive?
Your caravan will be ready for you by 1pm
What time must we leave?
I ask that you depart by 10am. This gives me enough time to clean for our next guests. There may be times when I am able to extend checkout for a small extra charge (Please ask, if I can help, I will)
What should I bring with me?
- Everyday bathroom towels
- Beach Towels
- Toiletries
- Personal effects
- The kitchen is fully equipped and there are washing up items there as well as Tea, coffee and sugar. A washing machine as well as a dishwasher are provided and fitted to the mobile home; a rotary drying unit is fitted outside the caravan for use. A steam Iron and ironing board is supplied, as is a hair dryer.
- Beds are made up for you prior to your arrival.

You can also contact Haven reception who will help you on my behalf, however if they are called to assist with an issue which is due to written instructions not being followed (e.g. Heating system) there will be a call out charge payable to Haven which will be deducted from your deposit.
